It’s true what they say: the less you wash your jeans, the better. That way, they hold their indigo longer, with a low, natural fade.
So put it off for as long as you can bear. Then turn them inside-out, set the machine to 30 max, and use a little mild detergent. Whatever you do, make sure you wash with similar colours. And if you’re truly devoted, wash by hand.
Shake them out when wet and hang-dry or dry-flat. If you insist on using a dryer, set it to the lowest heat setting, and take them out while they’re still slightly damp.
You could dry-clean them, but we wouldn’t recommend it.
