This is the good stuff: 14oz rope-dyed cotton, woven in Japan by Kaihara — denim weavers of legend — and finished with the iconic ‘self-finished’ edge.
The old-school selvedge looms give each roll its own distinct fleck, texture and character — so each pair is unique. And they'll wear in beautifully over time.
Don’t tell the purists — but this weave has stretch. It’s not a rogue move, just a smart one.

Our Selvedge Denim is made with 98% Cotton and 2% Elastane.
New denim can experience some colour transfer with contact. So take a little extra care in the early days — especially with light coloured garments and upholstery. Be sure to wash at 30°C or lower with similar colours, low iron and no tumble dry if you can avoid it. No bleach. Wash inside out.
