Costs a bit more than many t-shirts however I bought three more because as I was ironing some old t-shirts I noticed my spoke ones still lined up on the seams like they were new. My recently bought £20 cheap ones were out of shape after one wash. I then thought about it and the oldest of my spoke ones must be over ten years old now. Owned from way back when they did one type of jeans, chinos and the tees I think. So yeah 10+ year old tees I'm still happy to wear (even minimum fading). Sounds like an investment to me. So I did.

A great tee starts and finishes with the fabric — and we trialled many, searching for that fine balance between structure and softness.
We landed on a 160g single-knit jersey cotton.
It’s a compact weave — so this will take on your dryer, and win — so long as you don’t do anything daft. Pure cotton always shrinks a little over time — but this will be very manageable. And it’ll be even softer after the wash.
The trim is simple, but refined. Twin-needle-edge stitching and bound side splits, which move easily and stay clear of pockets.
